I was thinking about the whole concept of how crystals have been associated
with mysticism and healing for millenia. Some say that some crystals have the ability to show their owners the future. "Crystal
Vision" touches on the ability of magical vision in a more or less literal sense of the word. This miniature painting
has been accented with genuine crystals, including a tiny aurora borealis centered in the iris. The outer edges of the canvas have been lined with a beautiful blue, white, and peach "fabric print" style
origami paper, adding an interesting touch to the drama of the piece.
